The Japan Association of International Publications aims to promote and disseminate the import of publications and academic information (= foreign books) in order to contribute to the improvement of Japan's academic culture, and to deepen mutual study and friendship among members. It is the only organization of foreign book importers and distributors in Japan. Currently, the Japan Foreign Books Association is composed of 36 companies engaged in the import and sale of foreign books and related businesses that support this purpose.

In the spring of 2022, the association is about to undergo a major rebirth. It has become an open organization to promote mutual friendship and information exchange among members. Taking this opportunity, we have renewed our homepage and are recruiting a wide range of individual members. There are no membership qualifications or membership fees, so please join us. We will send you information on various events.
